Downsouth, I am a believer! This announcement should offset any negative from DOJ/Brazil/China/ Billy Clinton etc. I am hoping for a slow rise to split date (especially this morning). I need to pick up some April and beyond call options on MSFT for my(and wife's) accounts and 3 others that I kinda "manage". Should be one incredible trading day--futures are down. Expecting a lot of volatility but MSFT comes out a big winner. Now the IBM money should start flowing in to MSFT. BTW--not gonna dismiss rumors anymore because you never know if they are not just rumors. All the Best

I can't believe a company would email the employees in advance...and expect it to remain private. I am surprised that they did split now....I would think with the DOJ issues...they would keep their heads low... but MSFT is a little arrogant....so... what do I know...?? I think...IBM will announce a split...once they have their board meeting...they need one...the market was expecting it...and they are hurting... should be a great week....AOL announces earnings on the 27th! (have about 25% in AOL) and if the "bubble pops"...there will be a flight to the quality stocks... MSFT, AOL, DELL, CSCO....INTC...SUNW money has to flow somewhere.... m....gorilla keeper....laugh...
