Core business … does TAVA have a future? I fully support the group's efforts, to get more publicity for the company and to reign in the dilution of our shares. Still I think it is time to express my enthusiasm for the plans laid out and graphically illustrated on pages 4 and 5 of the annual report. We all have seen the results of little TAVA finding a solution for a critical problem and jumping on it with just the right approach. Plant Y2Kone is now the principle tool to find and fix the Y2K bug in embedded systems.

Association with the top brass of large corporations because of Y2K seems to have provided new orientation for TAVA. I have hoped all along that TAVA could apply the same quality of insight to the future that they did to Y2K, to see the major opportunity for improvement in corporate manufacturing information and control and to become identified as the leader in providing the solution.

REAL-TIME IT looks great to me. Once again TAVA has the opportunity to pull off a coup by introducing TOP LEVEL integration of business process management and production process management. I would like to see some evaluations and opinions about REAL-TIME IT from others. Meantime my opinion is they are putting the core business on the exactly the right track.
