It's smelling more and more to me like we're going to look back and say that Microsoft's great news and the Social Security hype job by the President were a very big inflection point. >>

The highlighted part looks doable, at least to me. Reason: I see big jumps in ticks for even the most liquid stocks (in the order of 1/2 point.) Added more PAASF and NEM this morning.

I've been looking at PAH...I can't figure out the story, it's in deep kimshee. Don't count on the dividends. I kinda think its remains will be bought by somebody else.
If you want a little reit exposure and looking for total return not not just dividends look at CSSPX it's bottomed and doing a rebound here.
It's cohen and steers aggressive-growth fund. The risk with reits is that it's a fragmented industry that's consolidating...you want to buy a bucket of them, not individual stocks. Ditto with utilities.

I only follow it from a distance, but PAH is anything but low risk. They issued a floorless convertible, so a death spiral is not out of the question.
