I agree NDB has been horrible lately. You may want to look at Ameritrade or Etrade. Someone told me Datek is OK as well.

Can anyone strongly endorse 1 discounter?

thx

I had the same problems a few weeks a ago and lots of SI members gave info about the following. You might try checking AB Watley. Those I know who use them are satisfied with service. 3K min. required for their Watley Trader service, trades at $9.95 under 5,000? or 10. I use Datek and I am changing to AB Watley because IMO Datek s*cks, complaints too numerous and none that have not been repeated on SI about Datek many times before anyway. All-Tech Investments based in New Jersey has offices which you can go to and trade on-site with Level II but requires larger min. They have website too. Good Luck.
