Shalom...."Digging a Hole"
This came to mind during the sermon this morning.
It's a revelation I received about 10 yrs ago.
"Digging a Hole"
I bought a horse once, within a week the horse died.
I was real disappointed at the wasted effort and money I lost.
I now had to bury the horse and while digging the hole it occurred
to me. While digging this huge hole to bury this dead horse it occurred to me that I never really prayed about about buying that horse.
I could have dug a alittle tiny hole in my prayer closet before I bought that horse and I wouldn't be digging this huge hole now in the hot sun and sweating it out.....while digging this unbearable
huge hole to bury this dead horse.
So, in everything we have to "dig a hole". Either the little hole in our prayer closet before decisions or sometimes the massive hole afterwards.

"no animals were hurt or died in this parable"

It's been great digging only little holes the last several years.........

Love ya,
