Does anyone know if Mr. Briscoe has recently sold any of his IOM shares? One could step aside from a post of responsibility for any number of reasons, which in itself does not mean that he does not have confidence in the company. If IOM sold its products directly on the internet would that not be in competition with distributors handling their products, causing distributors to deal with other companies not in competition but dealing with similar products.

RE: Briscoe and Forsyth.

>> 1. Does anyone recall how long Mr. Briscoe has been with IOM? To what extent was he responsible for the development and bringing to market of Zip (if at all)? <<

Briscoe has been with Iomega since 1/95. Forsyth has been with Iomega since 8/97. They were presidents over the Zip and Jaz divisions, respectively.

>> 2. Who is now responsible for their R&D department? <<

As part of the restructuring, James Kelly (with the company since 6/91) was promoted to Sr. VP of Product Development.

>> 3. Who are the "visionaries" that will help identify and develop new products? Are any of these people carryovers from the KE days? <<

Briscoe and Forsyth were from the KE days. James Kelly is pre-KE. The key managers and directors have a good mix of pre-KE, KE-era, and post-KE people.
