FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Panthers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PAW) announced today the appointment of Michael F. Glennie previously held the position of President of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, [ed. comment I used to work for them] one of the companies luxury resorts, a position he will continue to hold.

"Michael's leadership and twenty-five years of industry experience will bring additional value to our collection of trophy resorts," said CEO Wayne Huizenga. Prior to his current position, Glennie was manager of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City where he oversaw a $100 million renovation to re-establish the property as one of the premier hotels in the world. Mr. Glennie also has had experience with Rockresorts and Lincoln Hotels.

In a market where membership has its privileges, Glennie introduced the concept of the Premier Club at the Boca Resort & Club, a tremendously successful venture, which restructured the existing membership program to yield both substantial recurring cash flow.
