<FYI> history of Dell stock splits I agree with you that a split at February earnings does not appear to be likely at this time.However,it should be noted that Dell has split as low as 90(2 for 1).Also,a check of historical charts will reveal that most splits for Dell came immediately after large runups.IMO a blowout earnings report coupled with a stock split announcement would protect a runup from profit taking and possibly add 10-15 points by split.Last February split announcement added 25 points in three weeks.
