It's not about bill clinton lying or committing criminal acts. It has nothing to do with the issues being debated in this mock senate trial. It is about the economy, stupid. The only thing that is really relevant to bill clinton is the abortion issue, which isn't really about abortion as much as it is about an individual woman's independence to do as they please in the US. bill is seen as some sort of guard to these much more informal issues. Show the American people how to get past that and you will see the polls reflect the criminal aspects of this event.
