Yeah I'm seeing that in the senate behavior. However, I also see these two statements as contradictory in that regard.

An impeachment and trial by the Senate is NOT a Court of law. It is a uniquely political process governed by the Constitution and the rules of the House and Senate.

vs

The Senators will decide if the facts as proven warrant [Clinton]'s removal from office.

Either it is just a political process; Or, it is a trial based on the law of the land and the facts pertinent to the case. I'm now resigned to the idea that it is about whether or not you support bill clinton for what ever your reasons you have.

You really should attribute that post Danny boy. There is nothing at all contradictory in recognizing that that removal process is political while being concerned about upholding the rule of law. The senators should as a matter of good politics vote to remove Clinton so as to vindicate the rule of law. No man, including WJC is above the law and no man should be allowed to shred it as he as.
