Factoid...

Interesting, Oxy Petroleum (12th largest oil co. worldwide) is cutting its exploration/production budget by 63% from the $700 million dollar range to the low 200's. The only two places they are going to continue to spend is in the Elk Hills field (a few miles from ELH, a 1.8 Billion barrel field) and in Qatar.

Interesting. I wonder if the ELH discovery has something to do with their continued interest in the basin.
