No Pezz, you understood me correctly. My original post was in response to criticism that I hadn't mentioned the responsibility men have regarding the abortion issue. Here is what I said: <<I never said that men have no responsibility for bringing about unwanted pregnancies. I have always held that personal responsibility is the only alternative to the current situation. It only takes one person in any such situation to accept responsibility up front. It seems like when it comes to an abortion the fems want the right to choose and also to the right to blame men for all of the unpleasantness. It is the general consensus here that when it comes to abortion it is a womans "right" to decide. Rights generally come with responsibilities and so that is where the comments are focused. My view on men, is that they keep there hands, eyes, and mouths off of things they have no rights to; and they have no rights to any woman's sexuality that they have not made a righteous commitment to and that includes the offspring that could result.>> I stand by that. Your position seems to be. Hey, what about us forty something, condom packing, sport f___ers? My answer to that is to watch the Jerry Springer, Rickey Lake et al shows, to see how the psycho-drama society you are creating presents itself. Its easy to say a condom makes it possible for two consenting adults to engage in personal and private sex acts with no effects beyond the event itself. Hence, the dismissal of any personal responsibility. That is a dangerous myth and I don't buy it. It may help to prevent some of the unwanted pregnancies but it creates many other complex problems. The rest of us are living with the much bigger problems you are creating by this irresponsible attitude.
