Maybe the answer lies here....

biz.yahoo.com

If you take the first Quarter of this year September....@ - 5 cents.

So it goes like this....

Sep 98 Q 1 -.05
Dec 98 Q 2 +.00
Mar 99 Q 3 +.06

Now you are at a plus .01

Last Quarter then must be .11 in order to get to .12 on the year.

Well if you take then that 11 cent from Jun 99 and do some Michigan math....11 x 4 = 44 cents all day for 2000 June.

The only way you can get to the 50 cents estimate is;

.11 + .12 + .13 + .14 = .50?

......................................................

It will be a mute point tomorrow, but there ain't no way this stock is going flat earning in 2000 with all the projections on e-bill going exponential. Unless, you discount entirely the fact that NO BODY is figuring any e-bill in their estimates...which they've for the most part pointed out that they have not even considered it's effect.

After all how can you forecast something like that, you can't. You'd have to know consumer adoption rates. IF it becomes CLEAR that e-bill will be the 'Killer App.' that so many like Killen have forecast...CheckFree would make a day like this look like a Bad One.

IMHSMO....the Analysts have their finger on the trigger with this in reguards to e-Bill adoption..It's and IF this THEN/WHEN. There's tons of speculative upside explosive potential with this one over the next 6 to 9 months as service rolls out and goes live.
