William, since trader status was established within the last few years, the great majority of CPA's did not learn about it in college. I think you're not grasping what I'm talking about, so I'll let it go. Perhaps ask your wife if she understands the intricacies of trader status, and taking deductions on schedule C vs. A. Ask her if she knows the rules concerning income tax for every country, the reciprocal agreements and treaties, etc. This is not the same as filling out form 1040EZ. Barb
