Thank You Mo:<in the river, in the buff> I very much enjoyed Cambodia, more so than Thailand. One scene in particular, I will never forget, is the villagers taking baths at the edge of this very wide river, passing through the capitol Phn Penh (sorry for spelling)--anyway, each person, except for the children, had a somewhat beautiful "dance" routine in place, whereby they would bath themselves, with all of the serious scrubbing taking place under water, or under a "wrap" out of view of the pubic standing along the higher shoreline. This bathing activity takes place as the sun is setting, so many people are coming to the high riverbank, to view the sunset. Especially lovers, sitting close to each other. But including many other adults, who by viewing the river and the fishing, and the sunset, could try to forget the horrible conditions behind them. The bombs of 1975 did such damage, and their resources are so thin, that 20 years later, the city is still a dump in many ways. Thanks for stirring my memories. This is all related to the Pol Pot person, who recently gave himself up....the one behind the "killing fields"---basically beginning with forced evacuation of the capital of the country. I highly recommend traveling there.

Mohan....arthur...OT...re;There is a religion in India called Jainism which originated I believe around 5 B.C (I am
not sure about the date).Jain priests are the only ones I know who rejects clothes along
with all the other worldly stuff,I don't think they parade around town to display their
nudity,it is merely incidental. If they have to go to town don't expect them to get dressed
for it.<g>...Jain religion was founded at almost the same time as Sidhartha was Revealing Buddhism....450 BC......as to nudity in India....Go to Goa.....(g)...other than that....have seen a few Jain businessmen walking about in the buff ...once in busy Bombay...another time in Varanasi...nothing but a briefcase.....naked Sadhus ..here and there...........Tim
