Yeah, but it's snowing in Bakersfield --> California. I wonder if Big Dog brought his skis to SF? weather.com One of the reasons I moved out of the Northeast was that every winter we would get the "January Thaw" and everybody would say "looks like an early spring this year" but then the hammer would come down in February and make everybody depressed beyond words. Here in S.C. Spring comes in Feb. So glad I left. Remember a week or so ago, crude got dumped 40 c on bogus NWS weather reports. Well, this time the report is worse and oil is only down ~ 23 c. The recent housing market stats are STUNNING! I still say, anyone expecting a recession this year is nuts. Unless of course the fed has to raise rates because of RISING wages and commodity prices.
