An Avatar is a user selected computer generated character that acts as your personal agent to search out information on the products on which you are interested. The one we saw was a a woman with an English accent. She was quite attractive, if computer generated women can be thought of as attractive, and she had made a search for a customer based on his shopping needs.

The discussion that ensued was based on what she had found based on the customer's interest in the purchase of a couch. 3 D modeling was used to fit a representation of a couch into a rendering of the customer's living room produced after the customer had supplied the company with a photo of their living room.

Regards, Jeff

Frank,

In Hindu thought, an Avatar is the human embodiment of a God who comes to lead the unenlightened toward enlightenment. (:>)
