Michael, You'll probably get a few posts back about your "lemmings who dumped today" comment. Candidly, part of my former position falls into your "lemming" category. As many have said over the past days since last Friday, time will tell. Will ABTX satisfy even the most long-term faithful shareholders eventually in the year 2000 plus? Perhaps. Will JT's "informal" discussions from this point forward (without a timetable or magnifying glass from investors) help out in the relatively short-term (1999)? Again, perhaps. Are there other stocks that the "lemmings" can seek out to try to diminish the lost opportunity cost of funds that has been erased by ABTX? Absolutely. There are many paths up the same mountain we are all trying to climb. Today I am still stinging from a big-time hit I took. Have I learned lessons I hope I don't repeat again? Let's hope so. But for what it is worth to anyone else sharing the same pain --- go do something for a loved one today for positive therapy! (I was lucky and came upon a chance to buy 2 tickets to the SuperBowl, at face value, and now will go to the game with my son). It helps to put all this crap with ABTX in perspective. Go dirty birds. PS: JT, if you want to buy my 2 Superbowl tickets, the valuation is somewhere between here and there, I will make my announcement of my strategic alternative process decision in late January.....but go ahead and make your travel arrangements now for Miami JT...because all is proceeding as planned...
