Anyone know the history of the relationship between these two companies? Is this just a nuisance suit as a preemptive strike against losing their overseas rights, or not?

Their point "GT Interactive's attempt to blame Midway for GT Interactive's own business failures and shortcomings" I think is valid. GT is the antithesis of a well run company like THQ. Looks like now they want to spread the blame around.
