ARP starting to heat up just now. I was in this morning at $5.35...but then got back out again (ate commision). It just wasn't moving the way I wanted.

Back in just now at $5.50 cuz it started heating up all of a sudden. Already to $5.60. Whether it's news or "high hopes", either way I imagine it will move up. Conference call announced for tomorrow with the company at 2pm.

A couple of other thoughts:

-ARP has been at $5.50 (and above) before on hopes of a better offer. Now there's even more reason for a better offer from Barrick....not to mention the real possibility of a substantially bigger deposit that may be the ticket to attract other offers. Newmont is out there somewhere. Maybe this will bring them to the plate!

-Thinking very short term, this news is not very widely distributed to all who follow arp. Could be a nice pop tomorrow.

-.....and if there really is that kind of gold there and they duplicate the drilling..... :)

Regards,

Kevin
