*OT*

The only reason to place an all or none order is if you don't want to get stuck with 100 shares. That has happened to me a few times. It isn't so bad if the stock is trading at $10 but when the stock is at <$2 it can be quite annoying. But I agree that AON orders should almost always be avoided.

jim, I use AON orders to great effectiveness. The times I've forgotten to make it AON, the brokers screw me by breaking it up so I have to pay two commissions. It does happen, believe me. Happened today as a matter of fact. To each his/her own i guess.
