USWB: Earnings out already today instead of tomorrow as mentioned in Jenna's Newsletter. Loss of $1.26 (including charges of how much??). Is this bad news for the stock? What's up next for the stock?

MTP.. Please ignore the second part of post on LXK .. the beginning is okay but the numbers below are for Montana Power Co- Our Market Gems Change of Pace company. Numbers for Montana Power Co. (MTP) Earnings report & surprise Date act est. %surprise % change Sep98 Q3 0.65a 0.41 +59.0% +132.1% Jun98 Q2 0.39a 0.25 +56.0% +56.0% Now we are looking at a estimate of $0.86 up from $0.80 from last year. whether you like the fundamentals or not, you have to agree its cold there and like WEC, the cold climates have the best utility companies. It's got an EPS rank of 97 and an estimated EPS rank of 98.. ERG improved to 97th percentile in 7 days. and chart had a nice pullback after being on a strong uptrend. Technicals for MTP Technicals were looking a bit ripe for trend change this morning. Relative strength is now bullish. MACD histogram is very oversold and has been improving to the point of looking to be close to breakout through the 0 line. Relative strength has already broken out and given a buy signal today. STochstics are way oversold as well and Momentum too. A good earnings report could help bring around a positive trend change for MTP.
