Agio - The only 21" monitor that I have used has been the Dell (which I believe is a Sony) but I am VERY impressed with the sharpness and the control set.

Agio:

I have a 21" Panasonic that I have had for almost 2 years. I have
not had a bit of problems with it. After having a 21" it is definitely hard to sit behind anything smaller. It will spoil you!! Good Luck!!

OT** 21 inch monitors

I'm on a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 91TXM. Very nice, good resolution, crisp picture, and allows multiple windows to be displayed nicely.

Only setback, its has a HUGE picture tube hanging out the back. Takes up a lot of desk space. The new flat screen will be nice when affordable...

EDIT - At any rate, here one place to find monitors...

agio -

Sony's and iiyama's are both very good quality. You might also want to take a look at
sharkyextreme.com
for some reveiws (although not nearly enough).

Whatever you decide on, you would be wise to do a search for it on dejanews to see what kind of problems others have had with it.

Good luck!

llater,
Tony B

agio,

I saw a flat screen monitor at Best Buy here in Houston for $999. I think it was a 17 inch. IMO, the prices will be down $200 within 3 months.
