Re: SI/StockSite/Quote.com--Any thoughts about PC Quote (PQT)?

Quote.com, a private firm, and PC Quote (PQT) are both presumably "in play." Both firms could enhance StockSite in addition to offering services to 3rd party Web sites. Both firms need help.

Haven't particularly studied either firm, but there's almost certainly something of value in both.

Were GNET's stock price somewhat higher, a case could probably be made for the acquisition of DBCC, owner of 38 percent of CBS MarketWatch, along with CBS (also 38 percent). DBCC is also a data services provider (expected to earn about $0.41/share in FY99). StockSite could easily be repositioned as complementary to MKTW; the combination of the two financial/investor services Web sites, plus SI, would represent an incomparable one-two-three punch.
