AGREED! A neutral (hold) gets you $30 over the next year. LSI can easily get $2.00 earnings with the cost cutting they have done and a normal up-cycle in semis. BUT, if DVD, DCAM, Symbios, PlayStation II, CSCO equip.,etc. hit then $4.00 is not out of the question over the next few years. This is what keeps me here, but frustrated. How does one reach through the 'Net and shake management? Perhaps Mr. Corrigan's break-even on 120,000 shares is enough to do it. Let's hope so. Unlike Addi, I am NOT anti-analyst. $30 is ridiculous for a "strong buy", but you have to know how the game is played. Failure to make $30 results in coverage of LSI being dropped with nary a word. Should $30 be achieved, praise all around with much publicity and a raising of the target to $50. Thereafter, more praise at $50. Strong buy is $30 in another 12 months!?..... o~~~ O

Duane -- One of the things I like about LSI is all the hold ratings. Improved performance and a bright outlook in many of LSIs key markets will compel a round of upgrades -- (I hope). I might not stick around to see it, but if I was more long-term oriented I would be looking for that $70 a share in the next 18 months. One thing that concerns me is this "have they spread themselves too thin'? They serve a lot of different markets -- all promising - but all complicated and challenging. Perhaps they could be a bit more focused. An announcement to that effect but be another positve. Good luck to all.
