Short interest actually has been drying up. Type in XYLN into the box at the following link:
viwes.com

When you said that short interest was huge- you scared me for a minute... When sufficiently big money is against you- like 10 mm shares short, for example- they will often pay for bad news reports, ratings demotions and negative coverage in order to hold the price down. (What ever happened to freedom of the press? The media has sold it to the highest bidder.) In other words it is generally a very bad idea to bet against large short interest. However, short interest on XYLN has dried up from 10 mm to a mere 4 mm in the last two months. These people were pretty stupid to wait that long- but at least they have the brains to get out and cover their position before XYLN takes off. It now appears that those that are left (some nappers I suspect) will be too few to stamp out any fire that might ignite.

Today was a shakeout day for XYLN. Up and down, up and down. Hard to tell which way we are going- just the way the market makers like it to be. Emotionally weak hands fold under such conditions. But we are still in striking distance of the resistance level. And, a classic resistance level, it is likely to be.

XYLN- within striking distance of major major overhead resistance. Classic inverted triangle formation for over 6 months! This is the best resistance level candidate that I have seen in a year or more. If it gets through 22 3/16, then we're off to the races. You won't want to sell there or even below 25 or you will be sorry quickly. Give it a day or two after we break resistance and we should be near 30 IMO.
