4 Q's loss $0.01 per share showing turn around occurring

Full year 1998 loss was $0.27 . Wonder if 4 Q's new products (Res Q , Beliza Latina etc.) may have curtailed the loss ?

Reported results for 1997 included after tax income from discontinued operations of $750,900 (equivalent to $0.07 per share) and non-recurring after tax income of approximately $1.7 million equivalent to approximately $0.17 per share) related to the settlement of an environmental lawsuit in 1996.

Net sales for the quarter ended December 31, 1998 approximated $8.8 million, compared with net sales of approximately $11.0 million in the fourth quarter of the previous year.

The Company recorded a net loss of approximately $67,000 ($0.01 per share) in the quarter ended December 31, 1998, versus net income in the prior year quarter of $3,911,000 ($0.38 per diluted share) which includes about $0.24 a share from non-recurring events.

The family lawsuit settled for less then what SGD paid in past annual consulting fees for what looks like "blackmail" or "extortion".

Should be free now to concentrate on product expansion.
