Steven,

Re: "Yes, this is an AMD thread, but it sure is littered with folks that
hate it."

As with most things Steven, there are always at least "two sides"
to every discussion. It sounds like you just want to talk about
"positive" AMD info ... That sort of attitude is what has caused many
on this AMD thread (Fuchi, Maxwell, Kash ...) to lose "tremendous" amounts
of money. Both sides of the discussion should be welcome ... Please try
to keep it on a more "professional" level. TIA Steven

Make It So,
Yousef

Offhand I don't think anyone here hates AMD. Even the most abusive (of AMD) posters have taken bullish positions on AMD at times. I think that if you get em in the corner even they will admit that AMD makes decent products (just inferior to those of Intel). Even though the K7 will be the greatest thing since baked bread, its good to have people point out the fact the AMD's management team has flopped every major product introduction its made in the last umpteen years.

On another topic, I've never heard of any knowledgeable trader refer to a half point gain as a "short squeeze".
