No numbers from the Brocade/NApp announcement, which follows the typical patterns of such announcements whether from Ancor or from Brocade. Does anyone know when the Brocade/NApp deal was made, and did the timing of that deal pre-date Ancor's latest round of enhancements. 'Tis the season for disclosure, and just how successful Ancor will be in this round of technology may depend on just what the larger targets are going to do: Ancor; Brocade; other known; other unknown; in-house. We are heading for the back turn, and it is Ancor and Brocade running neck-and-neck. . .who will sprint out in the lead, and on what basis? Today certainly was a good day for Brocade, first Compaq/CMT (but without any direct mention of Brocade, and now this announcement). Tomorrow. . . ?
