Mr. Wong,

Two things... One, thanks for posting the CC replay #. I already called 3dfx and found it out, but it was nice to see it posted here.

Two, a technical issue that I feel needs to be resolved.

At this time you can still not "alt-tab" out of a glide application with a Banshee (not an issue with V2), this has forced me to use my banshee and my v2. I understand that TNT also suffers from the same problem. I'm not all that concerned about this on Banshee, but as supportive as I am of TDFX, I would not purchase a V3 if it could not do this. Based on conversations that I have had within the online gaming community this is a definate problem and is a "buying decision factor". This bug/problem totally hampers the functionality of Windows 95/98. Let me say this bluntly, if Microsoft has been touting multitasking for years, I don't think it is a good thing if 3dfx effectively eliminates it. 3dfx will not win that battle.

And on a lighter note... I think you work for a great company, I am heavily invested in 3dfx (and STBI), and wish you and everyone on this board a bright and profitable '99 (NVDA excluded of course ;P ).

Open note to Jason: Today's volume and price action appears to reflect a major holders decision to dump. My suspicion is that CREAF unloaded the 443,900 shares they had left from their last registration statement. (Given Nasdaq's counting rules, that could account for 1 million shares in volume. I could write off 2 million as typical after the earnings hysteria trading but not 3 - no way.) Being that Mr. Sellers stated in the cc that their competitors were behaving like gentleman, would it be too much to ask if he could call CREAF to find out if they did in fact sell their position in the am. Obviously, they (CREAF)don't have to file any more since they currently have less than 5% nor do they need to respond to such a request. However, I thought that since we were all on a gentleman like relationship here, it might not hurt to drop a dime. Another option might be to see what your primary market maker/investment banker fee collecting friends over at Robbie Stephens might have to say. (MM's dropped their prices like a stone - they new there was a big seller out there and being what they are - were not about to get stuck holding the bag.) Naturally, management should be focused on running the business and I applaud their performance so far. However, the loyal and dedicated members of the Iron Stomach Brigade have a need to know. Joe C.
