[Not so fast]

Yes, I don't think there was much chance of WSTL winning the BEL DSLAM contract. However, if you read the statement near the bottom which says "compatible CPE required", that means WSTL, IMO. I believe that WSTL will will be providing DMT CPE to BEL starting as soon as Dynamite chip can be integrated. They said in press release starting in summer 99. My concern is that BEL will go DMT to fast! Why? Because WSTL does not have compatible modem, yet. Sooo who provides CPE until summer? Also, It sounds like WSTL has built up CAP modem inventory (i.e. inventory up, inventory turns down). I am afraid of WSTL having to write off obsolete inventory. Who else could they sell it to if BEL won't take it?

My last post outlined how to find that file. I could not figure out how to branch to it, but I was able to download PDF after search of entire site. Maybe someone posted something they were not supposed to.
