I just read through about 50 post today to catch up. Welcome to all the newcomers. Nice to have you on board. The ARP play is going to get interesting. I am not willfully laying down my shares for less than $10.00 ...at this point. This may change upwards if we see duplication of these fantastic results over the next few weeks.

I can't imagine folks selling now at these prices. The Barrick bid at $5.00 is no longer relevant. The true size and grade of the find will once again be the determinant of share price until Barrick or another makes a superior bid which recognizes the hugh potential of this find. Folks should remember there was an inferred resource of 20 m oz based upon a very resent drill hole # 100. This was a number I saw suggested somewhere. This from the news release.

possibility of continued gold mineralization over a north-south
distance of 2 kilometres.<<

The results of the dd today begin the process of confirming and moving the known resource closer to this estimate. I am encouraged by the very credible comments and position of ARP management fending off the "opportunistic and coercive" bid of Barrick. I would expect other potential suitors to wait until more results are produced and closer to the expiration of Barricks bid which is Jan 29, 99 12:01 am local time.

The expiration of this offer so soon is probably the reason so many are selling into strength at this time. My speculation is that the offer will be increased before the 29th either by Barrick or another suitor. If the latter this will be even be more fun and interesting. An unknown is whether we get a new dd result that blows cork right off this bubblie before then. Good luck to all ARP ers

Edit. Don't mind me folks; just talking to myself again.g
