That way you can take your notebook out back and surf the Web by the pool or on the patio. Widespread deployment of DSL service has already begun, and the ability to share a single account among multiple PCs makes the monthly cost more palatable. Meanwhile, the computers in the home office and the kids' rooms can run phone-line products that plug right into the phone jacks. NDC Communications expects to ship its CableFree product early next year. Diamond Multimedia expects to ship its phone-line product in the first quarter of next year. Diamond in the rough is about to make its move. The other companies do not have the retail sales channels,and marketing that DIMD does,except maybe SONY. Hiram
