To All: If we can review the reason for possibly reporting earnings on Friday after the close. The Singapore exchange restricts trading for a few hours after the earnings are released. By reporting on Friday the stock is tradeable on the opening on Monday in Singapore and is not restricted from trading. Go back about two years in posts on this thread for further explanation. Bill

William, Nothing sinister here. CREAF always announces after the close of Friday. It has something to do with their listing on the SES. FF

Bill, Re: <Companies which release earnings after the close on Fridays generally do not bode well as this is the tactic used to 'hide' bad news, hoping it would be forgotten or lost over the weekend. Comments anyone????> Only that I've been dealing with our new office in Japan on a daily basis for several months and have learned the hard way that when it's noon on Monday here, it's 4 a.m. Tuesday there. Something to do with time zones and the international date line... Respectfully submitted, Ben
