Michelle, Just to set the record straight, Matt Fong was ahead in the polls going into the final week of the campaign. Thats when old Babs Boxer hit him with a 9 million dollar neg- ative ad blitz. She had him handing out machine guns to kids, banning abortion, and putting toxic waste into the school lunch program. It worked. Barbara Boxer is so ineffective that even the Liberal Los Angeles Times could not endorse her for a second term. Everyone seems to forget that she was one of the principal check kiters (a felony in CA) when she was in the house of Reps, and she was the one who subpoenaed Senator Bob Packwood's personal diary just so that she could humiliate the guy. The hypocrite Barbara Boxer can't even find anything wrong with Bill Clinton's behavior...but then given that she is Hillary's sister- in-law, that should surprise no one... -John
