[ALA]

I was thinking the same today. I had them on my ticker today. 3 block trades went by totaling like 500k shares. I wish I had level II and could tell whether it was buying or selling. I think ALA has BEL DSLAMS locked up.

However, personally, I have a problem investing in French managed companies. I just don't have faith in their work ethic or their grasp of capitalistic principals. I doubt they are making a profit from theses deployments either. They invented this "forward pricing" crap. I am a bit puzzled myself why BEL wants WSTL at CPE. Maybe WSTL is the company most willing to throw investor hard earned dollars down the drain! I still have a small gain in this stock and am rather close to liquidating my 20K shares.

I still believe WSTL will ship modems in large volumes but am really starting to wonder if they will ever make money with them.

I was listening to ORCTF conference call and they really seam to have more sources of revenue. They get a better cut on the FUJ chips than just IP. SO they make money on HDSL, ADSL, VDSL, Chips, etc... I believe they will be profitable as soon as FUJ chip is integrated (i.e. 3-4 qtrs 99)

[website]

The other thing that stinks is all the "under construction" web pages, especially the one labeled DSL customers.

I am hoping for pop from BEL association and may exit. I am not sure I want to wait until 2000 for this to get pounded with Y2K panic.

DR., It appears that the 2-3 weeks have passed and WSTL drifting back towards 5's as usual. I hope that you are not a WSTL employee holding options in lieu of salary. Most people are finding it very hard to be positive at this stage without extra intracompany indoctrination.
