<<<AMD confirmed it is in the final stages of producing silicon at its Fab 30 plant in
Dresden, Germany.>>>

Don't you love the way these things are stated? I thought Silicon was produced by companies like MEMC, or in neutron stars.

<<<According to a senior PR officer at the fab, Dresden started production of K7
silicon
on the first of November.>>>

K7 silicon...anything on the silicon besides the AMD logo and a printed K7?

I hate to nitpick, but these statements don't mean anything, taken literally. Maybe purposeful so they have nothing to back out of later?
