It ain't no year, Big P, though it feels like it sometimes from all the pounds of pus sent my way. As for Truth, Principle, Character, and the American Way of Life, it's quite a joke with Chief Justice and liar under oath Rehnquist presiding, adulterous papal knight Henry Hyde prosecuting, and white supremacist -when-it's-convenient Trent Lott leading the Senate. Characters all. Not to mention the Truth and Justice administered by Grand Inquisitor Starr to anybody who doesn't tell him what he wants to here. Then there's the eternal "rule of law" bleat about charges that would be unlikely to be prosecuted under normal circumstances, and might well not lead to conviction if normal courtroom rules applied. It's different here, though. Anyway, the wackos here provide me with more pleasure than Clinton does. He's disappointed me plenty, but the local "truth and justice" bleaters never fail to entertain.
