John; on PNLK; please see post #639 which casts doubt on whether AT&T is being "hired by contract", or if there's a true "joint investment-based alliance" between the companies.

The investor relations writers can be very clever with their choice of words when it comes to phrasing announcements. We see this everyday with BB stocks and the Small-Caps.

The press release is quite selective in its wording: "AT&T will provide the following items as part of its 'agreement' with PNLK".

The "services" by AT&T to be provided are advanced web-hosting, expanded bandwidth, At&T's toll free services and other standard AT&T services.

I think William is right. This agreement sounds like nothing more than a "hire for contract" agreement where PLNK is paying a fee to AT&T for services provided.

PLNK will now have the ability to provide enhanced web-hosting services, more sophisticated web-site development, e-commerce modules, expanded bandwidth and other AT&T services that will be resold through PLNK.

There is no mention of a "joint-venture" or any mention of investment dollars joining together between the two parties under this arrangement. Nor is there any other business term used that would join PLNK and AT&T together (other than by PLNK paying for AT&T's services). AT&T probably sells these services as a standard package to ISP's. What could AT&T possibly need from PLNK in terms of technology ?

This is an interesting press release, but, it could be "much ado about nothing".

As for the spread; @ 2:20pm there was a .10 differential between bid & ask.

Be careful on this one.....it's a common charade these days...good luck and happy hunting ! sw
