I belive the future of online bill payment is with the banks. Checkfree is just a middle man that had the Idea.
Ive used checkfree for years and found them to be responsible and error free. If it were my choice I would continue to use them. At $4.95, 20 checks are cheaper than postage.
Recieved letter from checkfree raising rates to $9.95 effective 1/1/99. A lot of banks are starting to use ckfr because they havent got a clue how to provide it themselves. When they get up to speed ckfr will be dumped.
The best model ive seen is security first national bank. Check them out at sfnb.com. This will be the model of the future and checkfree in my opinion is not a part
The good news is I belive this quarter will be great.
