yea, etrade is ok. website can be really slow when the market is moving fast. Also can take a bit of time to actually get to talk to a broker to make a buy/sell in canada because they are electronic after all.

I am happy though.

I don't know who you talked to at Waterhouse but they gave you some bad info. I buy Canadian stocks through Waterhouse Webbroker the same way I do through E-Trade. Costs $12.00/trade. You just have to know the symbol to use. It is the same one you need for E-Trade. Waterhouse just doesn't give you the symbol. If I want to buy a Canadian stock on Waterhouse, I first go to E-Trade and find out the symbol and then place the order on Waterhouse.
