Cramer is long EGRP.

For what it is worth....

Cramer chatted on America Online, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. EST.

Question: What is the future for E-trade

TSCNYjjc: I am long E-Trade and think that they do a great job, but I would emphasize that I am long it for a trade.

It seems to me that the announcement that "Average daily deposits thus far in January have been $60 million, almost 200 percent higher than average daily deposits of $28.5 million during the fourth quarter of calendar 1998..." is particularly significant. This shows that the company's growth is matching (or at least close) the phenomenal run-up in the stock, and while some folks may still doubt that it is fairly-valued, it seems more likely (to me, at least) that its current valuation isn't far off.

I mean, 200% higher growth in average daily deposits in sequential quarters is a hell of a lot!

Maybe that's why they can't seem to get me "authorized" for Power Etrade.

I received notice I was eligible 12/30.
Said it would be activated within 48 hours.

I've sent in three Real time forms (even though I already have access to real time).
Still no Power Etrade.
