A couple of failed banks would clean up a huge mess...bank accounting laws can't write off bad debt until it has been declared bad. Right now the world has to keep refinancing them at ever-lower interest rates. This bit about setting up a gov body to buy stock sounds like war on hedge funds.
Threads are dead....a few traders...
maybe the market will collapse from lack of interest.
