You mentioned Cymer. Since I sold my holding in that at a loss also, I havent been following it,,,,So what are they being sued for???? Same crap!!!! Mule, Pretty much. I know it's no consolation, but you shouldn't have gotten out of Cymer when you did. That's a highly cyclical sector which is now on the comeback trail. If it's any consolation, I had three major companies on my list to pick up when they were at all time lows -- ASYT, CD, and Cymer (CYMI). Damn my hide! All went to about 6 1/2 and the only one I got in was CD, and that when it was back up to 12. All three are now in the $20+ range. I'm sick, but not as sick as I would have been if I hadn't bought the CD when I did. Chipmaker TRID probably won't see the 20s, but it may be on a comeback. too. It's now trading just over $7 and is probably worth a look. Both volume and price are up. If it can break out of the $7 range it ought to go to $9 or $10, but there's a lot of congestion where it is now. ASYT and CYMI both have a little way to go before they're back to their 52-week highs. In other words, there's still a little play room left on CYMI if you want to give it another try. Just wish I'd picked up a thousand of each (which was my original plan) when both were at 6 1/2. I should add that all the lawsuits don't seem to be hurting CYMI. It and ASYT are pretty pure plays, for the moment, when it comes to the chip manufacturing process. Ditto ETEC, which I do own, presently at around $50, with a 52-week high of somewhere around $67-69. I got in at $31. If you think the semiconductor industry is on the way back to new highs, all of the above may still be worth a look. Personally, I hope to be out of high tech and Internet in the next six months and into companies that stand to profit from the new Highway Bill -- $218 billion over the next six years. Talk about your Government Teat and Pork Barrel City! Concrete and asphalt is where it's at as far as I'm concerned, at least for the next few years. Meanwhile, if I had a magical wand I'd lend it to you for a day or two. All the best in this business! PS: I think CD is still a good play at these prices, considering that they've yet to make hay out of their own very considerable Internet presence. The company is one big cash cow. Bootz
