George, thanks for those observations. Any contributions you and others make in separating reality from fiction in these techs are welcome. Indeed, you've already gone some distance to that end. I don't view this thread as a stock tip board, although, individuals may take from it as they see appropriate. The nature of this thread is exploratory and investigative in nature. It seeks thoughts and answers leading to a fuller understanding of what lies over the next horizon in the optical networking sector. Pretty dry and useless for some, I suppose, and extremely stimulating for others. But that's what you've got here.
