Sun's StoreX Open Management Platform Paves the Way for Universal Connectivity With Jini Devices PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SUNW - news) today announced that the company's open storage initiative, code named Project StoreX, will include Jini(TM) connection software to enable new discovery and management services for a range of network storage devices. When combined with Project StoreX-compliant storage applications, Jini connection software will provide new interoperability solutions for network storage access.
