** edit dollar been getting hit very regular lately **

Got a day job for a few days and can not sit on top of the market at this time..

Still have the 401k 100% cash. The market is to shaky, to close to major supports, moving to fast for that s**ty time delay account.

If the market had been heading south hard on Monday I would have put in a buy order to try to catch the expected bounce on Wednesday .. now .. dunno .. minor jiggles gives major support???

Ratchet sell ..

The first hypothetical case that I kicked out had XYZ run from 75 to 85 then back down to 70.

set up 4 other sets of movements over the weekend.

75 to 85 then back to 75 resulted in keeping 53% of premium collected.

75 to 85 then back to 80 resulted in keeping 68% of premium collected.

75 to 95 no return trip resulted in keeping 27.35% of collected premium.

75 to 85 to 75 to 95 to 85 .. keep 37%

Yes .. the seller has the advantage.

Now .. to solve the next few variables. The major assumption on the above runs was that the average price of at the money options was $5. It may take me a long time to shift these numbers into real premium degradation curves.
