Does anyone out there have any insight into how HD should do this earnings period? I believe they report mid February. I was dissappointed to see the stock retreat from 61 again. I was worried that we were going to retest the support area of 55 but todays action was encouraging. I was expecting a better run into earnings. Any thoughts? Robin

Warm Weather is Good for HD. HD will beat est. by at least 8% if not higher. I believe, HD will have a very good quarter due to several factors. - the warmer weather has a positive effect on sales. - home owners are fixing their homes. - slight increase in home building due to weather. Note: this period is usually a slow period. I believe, they should a very good quarter. Nonetheless, Wall Street are currently debating the interest rates, and HD might not get the noticed it deserves. In addition, HD increased their dividends last quarter. = they are making money....... Regards, Al
