I am sorry, I was not clear. Applications need far more than 33 Kbps today. As for pricing on the BEL/AOL initiative, I am speaking a bit out of school here but I believe that it is the asymmetrical ADSL at 384 Kbps/128 Kbps upstream/downstream, priced at $20 for access and $20 ISP charge. Perhaps a "Bellhead" can enlighten us. It is certainly not 1.544 Mbps of G.Lite or 10 Mpbs of VDSL, but better than a v.90 if you can get it.

I am, as well, willing to go offline with this, in case these posts are not of interest to you all.
