today's announcement of a joint licensing agreement between Microsoft
and Compaq Computer, Inktomi (NASDAQ:INKT) and Microsoft today stated
that MSN will phase out the Inktomi Search Engine as its primary
search platform. Both companies have valued the partnership and look
forward to determining ways to work together in the future.
